Specialising in rice dishes and paellas and located in Barcelona, the Cullera de Boix restaurant offers up to five menus to enjoy with friends and relatives at a reasonable price.
Are you looking for a place to organise a lunch or dinner, for example, with co-workers, in downtown Barcelona? At Cullera de Boix, we offer up to five menu varieties (off the lunch menu) to enjoy the best rice dishes and the best cuisine in Barcelona at a fixed price.
The flagship and reference menu on the menu is the Cullera de Boix. This is made up of a complete nibbling starter (homemade croquettes, razor clams, mussels, squid, cod esqueixada (salad) and Russian salad, among other suggestions) and a fish and seafood paella, which some connoisseur palates describe as sublime. For dessert, we offer one of the flagship dishes of the cuisine in this area: the Catalan creme brulee. The menu can be sampled at a price of 25 euros, not including drinks.
If you prefer to sample many dishes, you can choose one of the other four menus Cullera de Boix suggests at a price ranging between 24 and 33 euros. In any case, you will have the opportunity to taste some of the new dishes from the restaurant menu, which has been revamped this summer.
The average option (€26.5 per person) allows you to choose between different starters, from spicy potatoes up to homemade ham and chicken croquettes (which are increasingly popular among customers), through some breaded squid, among other options. As a main course, this menu offers cod snout with pisto (ratatouille) or roasted shoulder of lamb.
Now, if you opt for the most select menu, you will find these main courses, which are surely mouth-watering, depending on the time of the day: baked turbot, beef tenderloin with foie and port wine sauce and, listen up, paella with lobster.
